Well we've just finished clearing away after Christmas 2018 so our thoughts now are to get ready for our annual sojourn to the sun. Our ultimate objective, once again, is Morocco, but crossing a couple of weeks later than before. We'll take our time heading south, heading initially for Southern Spain and maybe Portugal but all the time keeping an eye on the weather forecast. We'll be meeting up with Derek and June in Southern Spain and maybe a couple of MotorhomeFunsters too.
Bertie is fighting fit, having had a little money spent on him for essential maintenance and running repairs. Channel Tunnel crossings are booked, travel insurance renewed today and a Green Card obtained for Morocco. This year, in anticipation of any problems with Brexit, we've arranged an International Driving Permit for Terry - we're not planning to be back until after "B" day.
As before we plan to spend New Year with Terry's mum in Lincolnshire before crossing the Channel on 2nd Jan, a late afternoon train intending to overnight on Citie Europ.

Previously....
Although we didn't Blog them, we've done several other trips since Italy.
Not long after we returned we set off again to S.W. France to join a MotorhomeFun rally at Twin Lakes, where we stayed for around 8 days then meandered our way slowly home.
Later in the year we also had a week in North Wales, visiting our good friends Derek and June before spending a few days looking around Anglesey. That one was brought to an abrupt halt when we ran over a small step-ladder in the roadway which damaged the fresh water tank. Fortunately we managed to repair it once we returned home.
For the first time we haven't done any shows this year. We've noticed that the quality was starting to suffer, probably because there are too many shows held all over the country - the exhibitors simply cannot afford to attend them all. We've also been disappointed in the provided entertainment, some of which was absolute rubbish.
But now we're back, so read on and enjoy.
